NOVEMBER WRITING CHALLENGE

This is a NaNoWriMo replacement challenge. I've seen a lot of them floating around but none of them are calling to me so I decided to DIY something for myself. I'm a slow writer so I'm only aiming to write 10k to finish Gravity's Prisoner.

ABOUT THE STORY

Summary: Hal Jordan's city is destroyed and Wayne Enterprises steps in to aid the rebuilding efforts. Hal wishes his relationship with Bruce was just as simple.

WEEKLY UPDATES

WEEK 1: Not as many new words as I'd like but I did post a chapter so that's good. I'm not sure if I'll be able to update the fic again this month, I'd rather just focus on getting the words out. I'm also scratching my head over how to count edited words.
WEEK 2: I had to take a bit of a break but I'm finally done with the (terrible) first draft version of a section that was giving me grief.
WEEK 3: Chugging along! I doubt I'll be able to hit 10k by the end of the month but I think I'll be able to finish a sparse first draft version of the entire fic. I only have two scenes left to write.
WEEK 4: I didn't hit the goal but I finished the first draft and I finally have a complete story to edit. Not sure when the next chapter will be up but I want to update once or twice in December. I hoped to finish the fic before the end of the year but I may post the last bits in January.
